Harkinder Singh Hans, 31, was found shot dead Wednesday night in his car parked at Eaglequest Golf Course in Surrey here. The police said the victim was "known" to them, without saying whether he was ever arrested for any criminal activities. They said they were called at about 8.30 p.m. after someone heard shots being fired in the parking lot. When investigators reached the spot, they found the Indo-Canadian youth shot dead in his parked Honda car. However, the family of the deceased denied Hans was involved in any criminal activity. "Never, never. My son was never involved in any crime," Balwant Singh Hans, father of the victim, told IANS. He said: "My son was never into crime. He was a Canadian-born networking engineer.
