Robert Mayberry, also known as "One-Eyed Kenny" was arrested


Robert Mayberry, also known as "One-Eyed Kenny" was arrested near his girlfriend's house in Atlanta around 7 p.m. Wednesday night. Mayberry is the alleged leader of thee "Grimmie Gang,: which controlled the drug trade around Avondale for years. He is wanted by the ATF on federal charges of Distribution of Heroin. After following numerous leads, the U.S. Marshals had information that Mayberry was staying with a girlfriend on Marietta Drive. When deputies arrived they noticed Mayberry standing at an intersection and attempted to stop him. Mayberry ran off but was caught about a block away.Cincinnati Police have been cracking down on the "Grimmie Gang" over the past year. Eight members were convicted and sentenced last May for their gang activities after former members started breaking the code of silence and talking to police.There is no word yet on when, or if, Mayberry will be brought back to the Tri-State to face charges.
